Meet & Greet

Say Hi!

This is where we sit down, listen, and get to know you. Everything starts with a conversation. We want to understand you, your current situation, and what you would like your end goals to be. Some people have a very clear vision, whilst others may need a little help putting that vision together. The more detailed the Design Brief can be at this stage, the better the end result will be.

2

Design Options

Let’s Create Together!

The Design Brief informs the framework and content of the proposed design(s). The sum of its parts. There is no one solution, so we provide you with options based on what is most important to you and your end goals. Sometimes elements from one design can be taken to improve another option, ultimately giving you a well researched and complete design solution.

Moving Forward

Action!

Once we have consolidated your ideas and design options into one complete design, the stage is set for you to engage additional professional services. This simply means the research, options, and design are done, so you can now focus and prioritize your resources where they are needed most - getting your dream built!

FAQs

A mossy green question mark rests on the ground, blending with the natural surroundings.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We all struggle with this. Unknowns early on can easily stop us dead in our tracks, or cause unnecessary procrastination. Sometimes we don’t want to start because it can be uncomfortable to spend valuable resources simply to find out a little information. We understand this, and want to make the discovery process as easy as possible for you. A complementary meeting is where you can relax, ask questions, and find answers to help you decide if we are a good fit for your needs.

  • We want to be completely transparent with you. If we are unable to help you or feel our services may not be the right fit for your needs, then we will tell you up front. And if for some reason we can’t help, we’d be happy to make some recommendations for you. We want what’s best for you.

  • In our complementary meeting we will broadly ask and discuss your needs. If you are comfortable with us and wish to move forward, you can go ahead and book an in depth discovery meeting with us where we go into depth to compile your detailed design brief that will be used as the framework for your unique design.

  • It is very important to try to mitigate potential obstacles as soon as possible. This begins in the discovery phase of the design brief. The more complete the perspective and specifics of your project that we can uncover and gather the better. Unforeseen obstacles always pop up, and when they do Moovme is on your side to provide honest viable solutions that work for you.

  • Moovme is dedicated to providing you with the most appropriate design solution for your needs. This requires an iterative and evolutionary process. Certain options may contain things you like (or dislike), and you are free to use whatever aspects from one concept into another, ultimately providing you with the most well-rounded design for your specific needs.

  • Typically the construction industry establishes approximate overall build-out costings for concept designs on a square foot or square meter basis until such a time as the design is complete and it can be costed out more specifically. Professional fees are typically based either on hourly rates, or on percentage ratios from the total construction costs of the project and depending on the level of service required. Part of our process is to ensure you are aware of the approximate costings from as early a stage as possible, helping to ensure you are aware of and prepared for the projected costs that aid in your decision making.

  • Michael is a creative, thoughtful, and intuitive designer - just the kind of guy we needed for our project. We had a complex stainless steel mobile sound system and a problematic system of floor cables that needed re-thinking and re-working. Michael sat down with us, asked us all the right questions, put everything down on paper, made beautiful drawings and then, like a cherry on the cake, he found just the right people to do the job! We still owe Mike our gratitude to this very day and we wish him the very best in all of his future endeavors.

  • "A delightful experience. Michael is very personable, delivering on-point design solutions in an enjoyable and highly professional manner. Couldn’t be happier. Not only were his designs perfectly matched to our needs, Michael had the expert carpentry skills to lead the crew and complete the job. Thankyou!"
