It’s not long, but just long enough..
Meet & Greet

Typically we like to start with a complimentary phone call or zoom meeting. This just lets us openly chat about your needs, our services, and to help us get to know each a little and feel more comfortable should you wish to proceed.
Next, we dive deeper to establish a design document (The Design Brief or Discovery) for your project that we will compile together. This is mostly a hybrid document of text, images (like Pinterest boards etc.), research, or simple sketches of your likes and preferences. It will also contain the logistics your chosen site, like any previous architectural and engineering drawings or reports, land surveys, the current zoning for your property and what restrictions and regulations currently apply. The design brief is what informs the content and aesthetics of your project. The framework or foundation for your entire design.
We try to uncover and consolidate as much as possible at this stage, ultimately feeding this information directly into the next stage - creating and developing concise and well-rounded design options.
Design Options

Now the design brief is complete, we can start having some creative fun. Typically we’ll prepare some preliminary floor plans for you that will layout and include the key items extracted from the design brief.
Once we have composed a few options for you, you can then select a preferred option or make a new option consisting of parts you liked from the initial alternative options.
With a mostly consolidated floor plan in place, we can start looking at how you would like your design to look in 3D. We build you a 3D model of your chosen design so you can clearly visualize and explore your proposed project.
You can decide how much or how little you would like the design developed. Maybe you are just looking for a concept to get an idea of what can be done and the approximated costs. Or, perhaps you would like your concept developed into something more consolidated - Developed Design - that is ready to hand over to other professional services to prepare for permitting and construction. You have the freedom to choose.
Moving Forward

With your consolidated design option in hand you are ready to move forward. That can mean using the design for fundraising purposes, or as a proposal for lending institutions if needed prior to construction.
If you are ready to continue, you have the option to engage additional professional services that can complete the design permitting process and begin construction on your unique project.
Of course, should you wish to continue with us, moovme would be delighted to continue by your side. Providing you with continued unbiased and dedicated design management services, ensuring that you get the best value for money and that everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing within established budgets and timelines.
